I chose to complete my internship at IZUM Youth Club because I wanted to gain practical experience
in public relations and marketing while working on projects focused on young people. IZUM seemed
like the perfect place to combine these interests, so I applied, exchanged emails, made all the
necessary arrangements, and was happy to be accepted.
From my very first day, I received a warm welcome from the entire IZUM team. They created a
friendly and supportive environment that made me feel comfortable and motivated to contribute.
Their openness and willingness to share their knowledge made my internship an enjoyable and
valuable learning experience.
My main responsibilities involved creating content for the website and Instagram page promoting
IZUM's summer camps and seasonal youth projects. Through these tasks, I was able to improve my
PR strategy, marketing, and design skills while working on real projects with a meaningful purpose.
One of the things I appreciated the most was the balance between guidance and creative freedom.
Whenever I needed support, the team was always available to help, but they also trusted me enough
to develop my own ideas and apply my creativity. This allowed me to grow professionally, become
more confident in my abilities, and gain practical experience that cannot be learned in a classroom
alone.
Throughout the internship, I felt that my work was genuinely appreciated and that my contributions
were valued. This positive atmosphere encouraged me to give my best and made me feel like an
important part of the team rather than just an intern.
Overall, I consider my internship at IZUM Youth Club to be an extremely positive experience. It met
all of my learning objectives and provided exactly what I was hoping for: practical experience,
professional guidance, and opportunities to express my creativity. My only regret is that the
internship felt too short. I would gladly do it again and would highly recommend this internship to
anyone interested in youth work, public relations, marketing, or creative project management. IZUM
