Training Course: "Developing Active Citizenship and European Identity"
From September 14th to 22nd, a transformative training course on Active Citizenship and European Identity took place in the charming town of Paralimni, Cyprus. 🇨🇾
This project united youth workers from across Cyprus, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Italy, Latvia, and Estonia to collaborate on methods that promote civic engagement and strengthen European values.
The training’s key focus was to empower youth workers with practical tools and insights, equipping them to foster these ideas among young people in their communities. 🌟

This course was not only an avenue for skill development but also a platform for personal growth, enriching participants' capacities to guide and inspire youth in their countries.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to @necieu for organizing such an impactful and enriching experience, and a huge thanks to all the participants for their active engagement and inspiration!
Getting back to Estonia, our participants also led a dissemination event to 20 young people in order to share some methods and talk to youngsters about active citizenship.

"The project helped me learn more about European values, why it is important, and now I know how I can use the knowledge I gained in my work with teenagers. It was also important to learn from other participants how things are in their countries and how we are different and where we have similarities. It was very interesting and informative"

RUS: Тренинг «Developing Active Citizenship and European Identity»
С 14 по 22 сентября в очаровательном городке Паралимни (Кипр) прошёл трансформационный тренинг по активной гражданской позиции и европейской идентичности.
Этот проект объединил молодёжных работников из Кипра, Польши, Венгрии, Португалии, Италии, Латвии и Эстонии для совместной работы над методами, способствующими гражданской активности и укреплению европейских ценностей.
Основное внимание на тренинге было уделено предоставлению молодёжным работникам практических инструментов и знаний, которые помогут им продвигать эти идеи среди молодёжи в своих странах. 🌟
Участники изучили важные темы, включая:
- Значение межкультурного обучения
- Понимание европейского гражданства и его преимуществ
- Основные ценности и их связь с активной гражданской позицией
- Защита прав человека
- Возможности для молодёжи в рамках Европейского Союза
Этот курс стал не только площадкой для развития навыков, но и платформой для личностного роста, расширяя возможности участников в их способности направлять и вдохновлять молодёжь в своих странах.
