YOUTH MEDIA FORUM
NARVA EDITION
Project was granted by Estonian German Embassy.
Project Dates: October 21-23, 2025
Location: OBJEKT Multimedia Future Hub (Linda 2c, Narva, Estonia)
The Youth Media Forum was successfully implemented to introduce media literacy and critical thinking as essential tools for youth from the Russian-speaking community in Estonia, aged 13-18. The forum used non-formal education methods to empower participants with media-related skills, enabling them to express personal ideas and foster communication between young people from Ida-Virumaa and Tallinn.
A core aim of the project was to highlight Ida-Virumaa as a vibrant and rapidly developing region, with media serving as an engagement tool. This was achieved through the involvement of media professionals, mentors, and youth trainers, guiding participants in hands-on content creation and critical media analysis.
