The Human Library isn’t your typical library. Instead of borrowing books, you borrow people. These Living Books share stories about their lives, providing Readers with a unique chance to engage in open, honest, and positive dialogue.
Books can represent a wide range of topics, including: - Religious or moral beliefs
- Unconventional professions or hobbies
- Special needs
- Sexual and ethnic minorities
…and much more.
Readers have the opportunity to form their own opinions through personal interaction, breaking free from stereotypes often shaped by media or societal narratives.
The Human Library aims to: - Raise awareness about various social groups that are often misunderstood or marginalized.
- Create a safe space for learning and connection, fostering understanding among people who may appear different but share the same world.
