The most common projects we work with but not the only ones are:
A Youth Exchange is a short-term international project (5-21 days) where young people (usually aged 13–30) from different countries come together to explore a specific topic (e.g., environment, culture, mental health) through non-formal education: workshops, games, group discussions, and intercultural evenings. In Youth Exchanges, there is a designated Team Leader who accompanies participants during the project to ensure their safety, comfort and active participation.
Training courses are Youth Workers Mobilities. The aim is to support the professional development of youth workers through international seminars, trainings, contact seminars, study visits, etc. All planned activities must be related to the daily work of youth workers and primarily support their professional, rather than personal, development. There is no age limit for participants, but participants must be +18 years old.
- European Solidarity Corps Local Solidarity Projects (ESC Local)
An ESC local project is an initiative implemented by young people that aims to solve community problems.
The authors of the project idea are young people (at least five young people aged 18-30). This group chooses a suitable topic for the project based on which social problem attracts them the most. The problem is attempted to be solved through various activities. The youngsters are responsible for implementing the action plan but thay are supported by a mentor or coach who contributes to the success of the project.
The solidarity project is implemented by young people, but the target group of the project is selected according to the problem statement: it can be children, young people, the elderly or animals.
